Well, it's not the fact that Toyota is recalling more cars (apparently Avalons this time), but the fact that when this happens to Toyota, it gets nation-wide media attention. The domestics get recalls as often and as bad with "back-page" media coverage, if at all. Unbiased reporting right?

Toyota said Thursday that it is preparing to recall 270,000 luxury vehicles worldwide, including some of its flagship Lexus LS sedans, to repair an engine problem.
The NHTSA released their most American vehicles list and the Tundra is the highest ranking truck on the list at #8 overall. Ford and GM trucks fell off the top 10 list.
